Book Talk: How We Win

On Monday at George Mason University, I had the pleasure of attending a book launch featuring Farrah Pandith and her new title “How We Win,” an insightful novel on how a combination of efforts from entrepreneurs, politicians, businesses, and social media can counter violent extremism. Interestingly she started her CVE experience in the Bush administration and her ideas were carried forward by then Secretary of State Clinton.

Farah Pandith is an accomplished government advisor, researcher, and media commentator, serving as a political appointee for the National Security Council, USAID, and the US Department of State. It was truly a wonderful experience to hear a unique perspective on how we can cooperatively counter extremism in the future.

“There is a war being fought, and we can win it. This is how.”
